COME AND TRY IT - a great way to give Ringette a try

August 30th and September 6th at Nicholas Sheran Arena from 1:00pm to 2:00pm
If you know of any players who would like to try ringette for free let them know of these days and times.
Helmets are mandatory, winter gloves or mittens recommended

WHOOP UP DAYS PARADE

August 19th. The LRA will be hosting a float in the parade this year, if any of your players would like to participate please contact: Deb Zarowny debzmtg@telus.net OR Karren Neufeld tayben@telus.net

CONDITIONING CAMP

August 25, 26, 28 at Civic Ice Centre 3:15pm to 5:30pm
August 30, 31 at Nicholas Sheran Arena 8:30am to 5:00pm
Please bring swim suits on Aug 30th and 31st
Cost: $120 for all five days including lunch and snacks
This camp will be limited to the first 45 registered players who sign up.

PLAYER EVALUATIONS

TWEEN: September 13th & 14th at Civic 4:45 to 6:15pm
NOVICE: September 13th & 14th at Civic 6:30 to 7:30pm
PETITE: September 13th & 14th at Civic 7:45 to 9:15pm
JUNIOR: September 15th & 16th at Henderson 5:45 to 7:15pm

Please ensure that your girls at the arena 30 minutes before their designated start time.
Note: if any players are planning on moving up a division the request MUST be made during registration to be considered and the player must be present at both age division evaluations.

THE LRA NEEDS REFEREE'S

Anyone interested in becoming a referee this season please contact Evelyn Lyon at evelyn_lyon@yahoo.ca.
Ringette Alberta requests that referees are over 14 yrs of age. Referee clinics are being set up for Oct 18 or Oct 19 in Lethbridge for level 1 referees.

Sunday June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 20th and July 27th from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM at Nicholas Sheran
Sunday August 10th, 17th and 24th 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Nicholas Sheran
Drop in fees are $6 for adults and $4 for youth.

LETHBRIDGE THUNDER

Back again for this year..
The LRA would like to introduce the "Lethbridge Ringette Association - Track Suit". In an effort to promote Ringette in our city these track suits will be available for purchase by players and parents starting this fall. The track suit will take the place of any team sponsored jackets or track suits effective this season. In the future, team sponsor items may included hoodies, caps, hats, jerseys, etc. but not jackets or track suits.

Microfiber polyester jacket with a silky hand touch. Mesh body lining with nylon lining in sleeves. Concealed hood with stopper and drawcord. Silver reflective trim on stand collar. Jacket back with mesh ventilation and reflective trim. Snowboard back with drawcord and stoppers. Wind and water resistant. Color is black on black. Front will have an embroidered LRA logo.
