Team Managers - Getting Started

Having a organized and informed team manager is one of the most important factors in the success of any team. Therefore, the LRA requires that all team managers complete Ringette Canada's "Manager's Certification Program". The program is a self-paced instructional package designed for team managers specifically for the sport of ringette. Deadline for completion of this program is December 15th of any current year.

Copies of this program are available through the LRA. Contact any board member or your team coach for your copy.

All team managers must have:

• Child Welfare Check - new one required each year, and
• Criminal Record Check - new one required every three years, and
• Certification (Manager's Certification Program") all team staff must meet the minimum certification requirements by December 15th - for coaching certification see "Coaches Getting Started"
• Proof of Medical Qualification (team trainer only)

All team staff other than managers must have:

• Criminal Record Check - new one required every three years, and
