I got involved because my daughter has played for 5 years and LOVES it. She's built very strong friendships, is on the way to becoming a super skater, a leader and a skilled player. Hi, my name is Mariko!
I have played ringette for 5 years! I play because some of my best friends play ringette. I started because one day after after-school skating I saw some girls playing. I found it very interesting so I started playing the next year. When I started I could barely skate but now I'm an expert. For me ringette is the best sport ever invented!

She loves it for the friendships and the great fun she has. We think it has helped her blossom as a young lady. She has become more confident, outgoing and loves the physical outlet. Ringette has become a focus point for our family.

I was right, it was a blast but it was hard work since I hadn't skated in 4 or 5 years. Some people say hockey is the fastest game on ice…Wrong! The true fastest game on ice is Ringette.
